Christian Women’s Job Corps® (CWJC) of Madison County is a non-profit, faith-based agency where women in need are equipped for life and employment through job-readiness classes, computer classes, GED training, Bible study, and mentoring. Women chosen to participate in the Christian Women's Job Corps program attend intensive life and work skills courses that include daily Bible study and computer classes. The classes vary in length and are free of charge. The curriculum is designed to give the CWJC students a firm foundation on which to build a successful life and career. Each student is assigned a mentor, and each mentor is committed to a one-year one-on-one relationship to help build the student's self-esteem, self-confidence and skills essential to success in life and work.

The purpose of Women's Missionary Union is to support the work of missionaries and to educate the church about missions. Our goal is to be involved in ministry in our community as well as the world. Following is a list of ministries we support:
- Help provide for a child at the Children's Home
- Provide support for the CWJC with lunches and snacks.
- Supply cakes for ESL classes at First Baptist twice a year.
- Supply lunch for Baptist Campus Ministry at UAH once a year.
- Supply Huntsville Hospitality House with food monthly.
- Provide lunches for World Changers each year.
- Provide food baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmas for people in our community.
We also support the Lottie Moon Christmas offering for foreign missions, Annie Armstrong Easter offering for home missions and the Kathleen Mallory Offering for state missions. We have recently begun having several Ladies Events each year to inform, inspire, and provide a time of fellowship for the ladies of the church. We have one missions group which meets on the third Wednesday of each month at lunch time. All ladies are invited to attend.
