Coming to HHBC

Children age 3 through 6th grade - come join us at Hillsboro Heights Baptist Church for an exciting adventure called AWANA!! It will be a fun-filled time every Wednesday evening from 6:00pm till 7:30pm. Yes - its AWANA time!! AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" and comes from the Scriptures in II Timothy 2:15. We will offer three AWANA Clubs: ages 3 and 4 called Cubbies; kindergarten through 2nd grade called Sparks; and 3rd grade through 6th grade called T&T (Truth and Training). Each club night (on Wednesdays) will offer a range of differing activities that will be not only fun-filled but also include a clear teaching of the Gospel. AWANA is an international, nondenominational, Bible-centered youth organization providing weekly clubs for kids starting in pre-school. Our weekly (Wednesday) program will promote an atmosphere of fun and excitement - a combination of fun and games PLUS Bible-based training.

Our AWANA program will run concurrently with the school year (which begins August 8, 2007) and will end at the same time as school is out in the spring of 2008.
